      Roger Ackling – Brought to Light 1 February – 10 March Annely Juda Fine Art 23 Dering Street (off Bond Street) London W1S 1AW In this exhibition Annely Juda Fine Art will be showing early archival works alongside an exhibition co-curated by Roger Ackling’s long-time friends and collaborators Trevor Sutton and Carol Author: Peter Foolen. Sculptor Roger Ackling made all of his work by the same method—burning marks onto found wooden objects and scraps by focusing sunlight through a magnifying glass. For Ackling, the method combined the monumentality and infinity of outer space with the intimacy of small-scale objects and alterations: Every mark documents the interaction of a Nationality: British.
